BBSmates.com is back online after being down for 2 weeks. Bad news is the site is lacking 1 year of user and BBS data. Good news is that Nullvalue put up the new forum system he was working on.

Window of Illusion as of January 17th at 10:17PM CST is running the new Storm's Edge Technology's Amiga CNet Pro version 5.10b! For now I just updated Window of Illusion with this new version and license. However, in the next week I am going to do a major overhaul of the BBS. This will activate features that have been disabled due to bugs. Not to mention a massive reorganization of the BBS layout will also be done. We do live in interesting times!

It won't be long now before you see a new Window of Illusion BBS web site. The look we have now hasn't changed much over the last 2 years. So I think it's time for a big change.

I am happy to announce 7 new apparel items for 2006 are now for sale in the Window of Illusion Store. 6 of the items feature the 2005 new user list for Window of Illusion BBS. The 7th item is new for this year. The black t-shirt features the first 2005 logo on the web site. Take a look and keep your eyes open for new items to come. The 2004 winter apparel items will stay on sale till this summer and will then be removed.

Several have tried and more then that even, have failed. However, on December 31, 2005 @ 11:30pm (CST). The deal for Storm's Edge Technologies to purchase Amiga CNet BBS software from Todd H. Knight was completed. Dan Fitzgerald (who goes by K-Guide on Window of Illusion BBS) started working on this deal with Todd back in March of 2005. However the research he did before starting talks with Todd was going on since April 2004.

On Friday July 22, 2005 the Internet connection just went dead here. Since I use Broadband Internet, the cable TV wasn’t looking too good either. That all paled in comparison to the electrical transformer behind my house blowing up on Sunday July 24, 2005. Which caused power to be off at my house on a 107-degree day for 8 hours. I wasn’t here to see it first hand since I was in Wisconsin on a bicycle path during a torrential thunderstorm, but I hear the fireworks were quite spectacular.
