Hack and Slash V2.2 is up and running again! I had a few requests to get it going again so I set it up. The game is just starting, now is the time to get online and start playing. Click here to login to Window of Illusion BBS and play, you might need to register as a new user on the system if you have never called before.

The Game is hard to setup and I hadn't messed with it in years since the board was first created. When I installed Amiga OS 3.9 I lost some stuff needed for it to run. If your installing Hack and Slash V2.2 in CNet, you may run into some troubles. A copy of Hack and Slash can be found here, and it's complete with special instructions for CNet Hack and Slash setup. Hack and Slash is different from most doors in that it requires you to run a background program to maintain the game. Also an ENV needs to be set at Workbench startup that points to the path of Hack and Slash's data file. This ENV didn't carry over to the new OS. I wasn't aware of it cus it had been 4 years since I had looked at the game.
